Kathleen Area Historical Society


The Kathleen Area Historical Society preserves and promotes our history through various programs and events throughout the year including:

  • Monthly Spaghetti Supper Fundraisers 2rd Thursdays of every month from 4 to 7 p.m. - Eat In or Take out. Enjoy fellowship with area residents and support the Society too.
  • Free Community Outreach programs, open to the public, on historical topics of interest, on 3rd Thursdays during the months of February, April, and May.
  • Special events like Heritage Day on the 3rd Saturday of March and Fall Festival on the 1st Saturday in November.
  • Participation in the annual city of Lakeland Christmas Parade with the BIG RED WAGON.
  • A Speaker's Bureau is also available to offer a presentation to your club or organization.
